ADD & ADHD TREATMENT

Contact Us

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can be thought of as opposite ends of a spectrum. On one end you’ve got ADD, which is characterized by inattentiveness. On the other end, you’ve got ADHD, which is characterized by impulsivity and restlessness. Individuals suffering from ADD/ADHD can fall anywhere between these two extremes.

While everyone feels forgetful or restless from time to time, people with ADD/ADHD struggle with these feelings for prolonged periods of time—often to the extent that they experience trouble at school, work or within their interpersonal relationships.

The good news? At Growth Extended, we offer comprehensive treatment for ADD/ADHD that not only seeks to address the outward symptoms of the disorder, but also any co-occurring conditions that might also be present.

Is ADD/ADHD Treatment Effective?

Ultimately, the success of any mental health treatment program, including treatment for ADD/ADHD, comes down to how well the program is tailored to the individual in question. In other words, it’s the difference between wearing a piece of clothing “off the rack” and wearing something made just for you. If you’re seeking help for ADD/ADHD, you want to know if the program you’re considering can actually help you. It’s a fair question and one that deserves careful thought.

At Growth Extended, we believe that recovery from ADD/ADHD is best achieved by addressing the whole person—not just his or her symptoms. This is why we offer an individualized treatment approach that takes into account a person’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being—as well as other mental health conditions like Social Anxiety, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, or PTSD.
